DESIGN BRIEF

This is an interior project based on Pulau Ubin. This interior space is a self harvest bar juice where visitors can plant, harvest and make their own juice here. The juice bar is inspired by Ubin way of living where they make their own foods. Everything is organic here. This juice bar allow you to mix and match infinity kinds of fruits and experiencing harvest on hands. All of this project is to give the value sense of belonging through ourself with valuing more on each other details.

DESIGN STUDIO

This self- harvest juice bar is a place where visitors can plant, harvest and make their own juice. This juice bar has a slogan “More than drinking juices, value the process”. They will have a chance to hand on experiencing the process of making juice. The environment also designed so they could socialize and interact with new friends.

NARRATIVE

This juice bar is inspired by Ubin resident way of live where they plant, harvest and make their own food. This juice bar is unique because unlike others, here visitors allowed to mix and match infinity kind of fruits and experiencing harvest on hands. The juice bar is designed to give realization to visitors to value and cherish each moment in our life. This space tends to set aside for a moment the “instant culture” of people nowadays. Although drinking juice is a common things, it will taste better if they value the process.

PLAN & ELEVATION

The plan of this cafe is divided into 2 area, exhibition area and interior area. It's also with the idea of Pulau Ubin itslef which directed to the design concept.
